👋 I am Remi, I live in France 🇫🇷 and write software for a living.

You probably know me from my work on probabilistic programming: BlackJAX, MCX, AeHMC and AeMCMC.

I also maintain a repository of notes and blog posts that are growing every day, The typical set. It's also an experiment to explore the ways in which knowledge can be arranged, shared and explored.

Last but not least, I am an active contributor to Pollsposition, a project that gathers data about french politics and uses bayesian statistics to understand (and predict) trends.
