This wrapper is used in situations where we don't care about *San reports, we just want to make things work. However, with enabled LSan we might trigger some bogus reports we're definitely not interested in, causing unexpected test fails. Currently, the default branch is v201-stable, which is 6 years old... So every time we open a PR on this repo, it defaults to comparing all the way back to that branch.
Please update it to something current, I'd recommend latest, which is currently v240-stable.
