This milestone collects issues and PR's related to the next minor ggplot2 release. We do not yet have any fixed release date but aiming for sometime in the autumn.

The main focus of the release will be the new axis architecture, the bidirectional rewrite of geoms and stats, and the new binning scale which should make for a pretty substantial feature release. Please begin tagging any issues that should get fixed as part of this release.
