First I would like to thank you for the excellent work of making this library available for us. It does save the day.
In my application which deals with binary files, I have to make some small changes to make the read() work. Could you please review the changes and see if they are proper? In addition, is it possible to have a new method just returns binary buffer which seems more reasonable for binary file?
