Sticky footer with fixed navbar bug #11603
Comments
Duplicate of #11382? |
It seems also repeated in #11243 and in #11301. What do we do in these circumstances? Can mine just be deleted? And when you say it's been fixed, you don't mean it's been fixed in the latest bootstrap do you, because it hasn't. I've also seen a variety of temporary fixes but each only works in certain situations. Because there are so many separate versions of this issue is there a way of establishing a definitive one where a useful solution could be posted if it is available? |

This concerns the "fixed" position navbar as opposed to the "static" position navbar; it has nothing to do with whether the bug has been rectified. I closed this issue because you yourself said it was a duplicate of other issues. |
I'm a goose. Thanks for the heads up. ;-) Isn't language such a tricky issue sometimes? Geoff signing off ... over and out ... |
(1) Shrink the page horizontally so the the navbar moves into the drop down. (2) Drop the drop down (3) Leaving the drop down dropped, stretch the page again. (4) Drop the drop down and it produces a nasty scroll bar in the header which you have to scroll down to see the dropped menu.
