there are two ways to fix this and we should do both.

use CSS that truncates with ellipsis.
take the text in the ()s and move it to the 1st line. So the above one would read:

1 jar, 162 KB download at 2.4MB/s (4.5 kB at 225 kB/s)
from central https://...
