There's a reason that this is an open source project (other than the fact that I'm required by obs-studio's license :P): You can (and I encourage you to) contribute. Whatever it is, as long as you feel it would add to this project, you can help the development of this project and submit your contributions. Since I started this project over a year ago it has increased quite in size, so any helping hand would be definitely be welcome.

Developing

If you know C/C++ or feel like you want to learn it and need something to motivate you, you are welcome to fork this project and submit any improvements you made. If you need help on how to setup obs-studio in Visual Studio or on linux, feel free to ask me and I'll try to help you out. There's also a page on compiling Input Overlay.

The project is devided up into three programs

Translating

The plugin has already been translated at least partially by a couple of different people:

  • JellyBrick (Korean)
  • hyrious (Chinese)
  • rashid (Russian)

but there're still many languages left and new additions to be added to existing translations, so if you want to help out you can improve existing translations or add new languages by submitting a pull request, or if you don't have github contact me and I'll figure something out.

Bug reports

Please submit any bugs on the issue tracker, make sure to fill out the template or your issue will be closed, if you do not have github, you can try the obs forums.

Submitting overlays

If you've made a preset and are willing to give it out under the Creative Commons BY-SA, you can send it my way over any contact method you want.
