We should consider removing this abstract and instead move this content to the pages.nist.gov page about profiles.

The first sentence should speak to what profile resolution is and why it is important. The text should then follow with how profile resolution is done.

Let's start with writing a better abstract and then we can migrate the content to an HTML page.
