I have a similar issue on my LG CX with both my Mac Mini M1 and my MBP M1 Max. The Mini will do exactly what's being described above. The MBP will default to 12bit color and show a blank because my monitor doesn't have the bandwidth - I have to change it to 10bit color mode manually from the laptop screen. :( How can I ensure it always saves the proper color mode, or perhaps just delete the unnecessary ones? |

Just as the note there says, you need to use Configuration Protection in the app menu to force a custom color mode. This should fix the issue. :) |
