Note: The "decades" abbreviation support I think does diverge a bit from the CommonMark spec. It's a bit of a special case. I don't mind if it's there or not. The normal apostrophe support is a little more flexible than other "smartypants" implementations I've seen, as they seem very English-specific (ie. they check for specific contraction suffixes). It may end up being too flexible, but I'm not familiar enough with other languages to know for certain.
