We pick `nominal` for the role of the last argument instead of
`representational` since the internal structure of a `Storable` vector is
determined by the `Storable` instance of the element type, and it is not
guaranteed that the `Storable` instances between two representationally
equal types will preserve this internal structure. One consequence of this
choice is that it is no longer possible to `coerce` between
`Storable.Vector a` and `Storable.Vector b` if `a` and `b` are nominally
distinct but representationally equal types. We now provide
`unsafeCoerce{M}Vector` and `unsafeCast` functions to allow this (the onus
is on the user to ensure that no `Storable` invariants are broken when
using these functions).
* Methods of type classes `Data.Vector.Generic.Mutable.MVector` and
`Data.Vector.Generic.Vector` use concrete monads (`ST`, etc) istead of being
polymorphic (`PrimMonad`, etc). [#335](haskell/vector#335).
This makes it possible to derive `Unbox` with:
* `GeneralizedNewtypeDeriving`
* via `UnboxViaPrim` and `Prim` instance

* The functions `scanl1`, `scanl1'`, `scanr1`, and `scanr1'` for immutable
vectors are now defined when given empty vectors as arguments,
in which case they return empty vectors. This new behavior is consistent
with the one of the corresponding functions in `Data.List`.
Prior to this change, applying an empty vector to any of those functions
resulted in an error. This change was introduced in:

# stringr 1.5.0 ## Breaking changes * stringr functions now consistently implement the tidyverse recycling rules (#372). There are two main changes: * Only vectors of length 1 are recycled. Previously, (e.g.) `str_detect(letters, c("x", "y"))` worked, but it now errors. * `str_c()` ignores `NULLs`, rather than treating them as length 0 vectors. Additionally, many more arguments now throw errors, rather than warnings, if supplied the wrong type of input. * `regex()` and friends now generate class names with `stringr_` prefix (#384). * `str_detect()`, `str_starts()`, `str_ends()` and `str_subset()` now error when used with either an empty string (`""`) or a `boundary()`. These operations didn't really make sense (`str_detect(x, "")` returned `TRUE` for all non-empty strings) and made it easy to make mistakes when programming. ## New features * Many tweaks to the documentation to make it more useful and consistent. * New `vignette("from-base")` by @sastoudt provides a comprehensive comparison between base R functions and their stringr equivalents. 1.9.15p3 (2023-12-13) * Always disable core dumps when sudo sends itself a fatal signal. Fixes a problem where sudo could potentially dump core dump when it re-sends the fatal signal to itself. This is only an issue if the command received a signal that would normally result in a core dump but the command did not actually dump core. * Fixed a bug matching a command with a relative path name when the sudoers rule uses shell globbing rules for the path name. ContourPy 1.3.0 adds new ContourGenerator functions multi_lines
and multi_filled to calculate contour lines and filled contours
over a sequence of levels in a single function call. There are also
new functions to render, convert and dechunk the returns from
multi_lines and multi_filled.
This release adds support for Python 3.13, including free-threaded.
The latter should be considered experimental.
The use of np.nan as the lower_level or upper_level of
ContourGenerator.filled() is no longer permitted.
