if you want to install the archlinux aur brackets package via an installer, it fails because download.brackets.io requires a captacha.

Hello@luka5 I am not on Arch but I think there is a package for Brackets called brackets-git in the repos. Check here Brackets-git. Hope that helps for the time being.

Thanks for the report@luka5. We don't actually maintain the package hosted on AUR. We had some trouble with our download server going down due to load, so we added a captcha.

@adrocknaphobia any chance that some of the flagged download activity is coming from AUR? Here's the PKGBUILD script https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/br/brackets/PKGBUILD.

In related news, we did get a pull request to support packaging for Arch Linux. It's still in progress from@macie here adobe/brackets-shell#316.

@mojo706 The Brackets-git package doesnt use the latest stable version.

@jasonsanjose As far as I can see the aur packages working the right way.
Packaging for Arch Linux would solve the problem.
