To prepare to launch new brokered service on cloud.gov and eventually port all brokered services to a new architecture, we will deploy the cloud service broker to one of our pre-production environments.

  • Experiment with CSB in a sandbox space
  • Deploy with a hardened docker image
  • Create service account in cg-provision

Build a custom csb image with a (near) empty brokerpak

Instead of figuring out how to pull the brokerpaks into the cloud-service-broker docker build environment, this repo will build on top of that image with our customizations.

I'm successfully running the broker in my sandbox space using the csb image, which is based on the cloud-service-broker image. It builds and runs with an empty brokerpak. I've split out other tasks like deploying the broker with Terraform to other issues.
