Trend based on a field value #1205

Is it possible to add trend on a field value than the count? I am using kibana for reporting purpose and I want to see change of a value of a field now and a month ago.

Slightly related to #1193 - making it possible to unlink a visualization from the global time range

You could plot this on a histogram and compare the values, however we have no plan to implement the trend panel in the same fashion in Kibana 4. We're looking at a more generalized way of accomplishing the same thing in Elasticsearch.
