- Bodo Eichstadt - Berlin, Germany
- Ayotomide Oladipo - Nigeria
- Jim Ciallella - Greenville, SC
- Jonathan Seubert - Beaverton, Oregon - UX / Design

Fran converted the previous Express-based REST backend to TypeGraphQL, GraphQL, and Apollo in pull requests #387 - #395
In development mode, there are now two commands to run either the back-end or front-end without necessarily needing to host Docker. Docker is harder to run on Microsoft Windows, so this will make things simple for front-end contributors.
There are no outstanding Docker issues and it should work with the most recent pull requests.
GitPod vs GitHub Codespaces was discussed. Fran suggested GitHub Codespaces, due out to the public in September, since it has better integration.
Jonathan asked if users need to receive an invite to a Chapter. For the MVP, anybody will be able to join through the website landing page.
Quincy asked if Meetup.com has a workflow for invites to confirm if invite-only is a common feature.
The first email to be sent from Chapter would be a welcome email. We won't have an invite email sent from Chapter for the MVP.
Email validation will not be necessary since we're using Google Auth.
Patrick St John couldn't make the meeting, but he's making progress on Google Auth.
All of the technical documentation now exists in CONTRIBUTING.md or README.md, per #380
- Bodo will work with Jonathan and Tomide to merge the Google Doc on email and email issues to update the existing user workflows for MVP and post-MVP roadmap issues.
- Fran will update the README.md with technical updates and continue on the back-end development.
- Quincy asked Bodo to think through how organizers can start to collect their members email addresses prepare to move their users to Chapter.
Quincy will share an invite for the Saturday, August 29th meeting at the same time, 18:00 UTC.
