• Anxhelo presented styleguide updates
  • Code snippets added; visible when user clicks on element
    • Feedback: snippets not discoverable enough (Saptak), "Code Snippet" as a text link would be a more discoverable prompt—especially for new or infrequent contributors (Nina)
  • Colors updated!
    • Ocean of blues minimized
    • Feedback (Nina): Ocean of greys to pls minimize?
  • Icons (Anxhelo): We still need to add...
    • Offer (Jen): FOP could get you guys an inventory with assets of what we're currently using (@ninavizz likely to do?)
  • Voice/Tone: @eloquence yet to do PR on copyedits
  • Typography: No updates
    • Feedback (Nina): Could styles shown reflect what exists in the build (vs 6 Header classes, etc)—and specs for character spacing and line spacing would be extra great.
• Nina presented Qubes Workstation updates
  • Now calling 'rounds within this round' of testing "UxR Sprints," unless anyone objects?
    • Just closed 2.1 UxR sprint, Friday beginning 2.2 UxR Sprint with our first participant in that block; yet to publish report on 2.1 sprint, but will be doing that today.
  • Lots of updates to GitHub project page—including above noted references
  • Now using "Issues" to track tangential UxR and UX things unrelated to stuff being created for current build.
    • Shared "Issue" re: UxR Participant Recruiting page; Jen said she'd take a spin through existing top-of-page novella to add her exit contribs
  • Spreadsheet! Jen digs it (earned a #jenwoah), will keep updating it!
    • Tracks concepts/features in wireframe(s) prototype and user validation status in testing
  • Open questions for Jen wrt technical feasibility/clarification things
    • Decryption/Download of new messages lag
      • YES, that is a thing we will need to design for. Predicted fetch/decrypt/display lag of message content is likely to be 1-2 seconds a-la TOR.
    • Client awareness of USBs attached to its VM??
      • Yep, totally can do—design for it.
    • Client/VM communication wrt ## of DispVMs currently open?
      • Technically difficult, but entirely possible. Involves part of Qubes that's buggy, and Jen recently filed a ticket against w/ them. TBD, but for now consider in-scope.
