Conor

Yesterday: Submitted automatic upgrades PR for workstation (https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-workstation/pull/172). Performed kernel upgrade test on 1U servers (https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop/issues/3849#issuecomment-431525908).

Today: Following up on review comments for SDW 172 (above), suggesting a separate PR for closing SDE 148 (https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-workstation/issues/148) as Mickael pointed out is now possible.

Yesterday: (Friday) User testing; phone screen and other hiring work

Today: Release messaging for 0.10.0; more hiring follow-up and UX outreach. OOO early for conference

Working towards making development & CI for client go smoother. GitHub being funky, so let's chat in Gitter. Would be good to get these merged sooner rather than later so I can work on new things.

Yesterday:

  • Merged modal login window
  • Thought a bit about how we should handle pushing of changes to servers from clients, write up in a ticket on the client repo, criticism welcome

Today:

  • Need to do an SDK release (change needed both for starring PR and the client debian packaging)
  • Get all 0.10.0 changes merged in ready for release tomorrow
  • rpm strategy meeting after this, feel free to join if you care

Yesterday: [Monday] I've been ploughing through GitHub things (not helped by GH being borked this morning). TL;DR LGTM. Have found a few bugs on starring/unstarring, but will push fixes. Would like guidance on test coverage policy too.

Today: [Tuesday] Working in London. Continue with the next thing assigned to me / finish GH reviews etc... #19 (support for downloading submitted docs)
