Reporting an issue

  1. Open our issue tracker on GitHub
  2. Check open issues to ensure your issue hasn't already been reported
  3. If your issue hasn't been reported, create a new issue with the details listed below

When creating a new issue, please include:

  • Descriptive title - use keywords so others can find your bug
  • Steps to reproduce the problem
  • What happens when you follow the steps, and what you expect to happen instead.
  • Did this work in a previous version? If so, please provide the version that it worked in.

Provide the current version of

  • trakt (for Plex)
  • Operating System
  • Plex Media Server
  • Plex Client (if applicable + available)

Log Files

The plugin log files are very helpful when reporting issues, please remember to:

  • Set all the Logging options to DEBUG (not always required, but it helps for more complicated issues)
  • Make sure the log files you are uploading span the time of the issue, you may need to upload older log files (suffixed with a number, e.g. com.plexapp.plugins.trakttv.log.1) if the issue has happened over 10 hours ago
