[PT Run] WebApps can't be run as admin via program plugin #4604
Comments
Adding this to .21 milestone so we don't lose the work tracking |
Don't have tested it via start menu. But for me via PT Run it doesn't work. 🤔 |
is your PWA chrome based or Edgium based? |
"Edgium" In start menu Pinned Website/PWA opens. But I don't know if it has admin rights. |
so i can launch both via admin rights. I just don't know if it matters really. validating if this should be correct behavior no matter what |
Not fixed in 0.20! |
It's a seperate issue (it is because the way the program / shell menus are built differently, so the root cause is the same). |
In the 0.25 release. https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/releases/tag/v0.25.0 |
For WebApps we should remove the "run as admin" button because it doesn't work. You can not run we apps/pinned web sites as admin.
