Moving Chrome tab leaves fancy zone hints up after tab has been moved #534
Comments
Hi @onionhammer |
@enricogior Not 100% of the time, but like 70% of the time. It just happened to me now trying to test it, and I also noticed that when I tried to @ you (type "@" enricogior) the blue area kept flashing and I wasnt able to type "@" until I force close PowerToys |
Can reproduce 100% of the time. |
Reopening since it hasn't been released yet. |
This is now fixed in PowerToys 0.14.0 https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/releases |
Guys,, this fix makes it significantly worse for me. Most of the time I open a new chrome or edge (chromium-based) browser window, it's blank and unusable, I've reverted to the previous release |
Do you have |
@bzoz no, I have not tried it |
Using v0.18.0 |
If this is happening then we hit a regression. @enricogior |
Simplified repro steps: start dragging a Chome tab, press and release the shift key until the tab is restored back to its original position. |
Hot fix? |
Working on the fix right now. |
We just released 0.18.1 which will have this fix included in it. |
Environment
Windows 10: Version 10.0.19002 Build 19002
Chrome: Version 77.0.3865.120 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Steps to reproduce
Expected behavior
Fancy zones 'hints' disappear after tab is moved to other window
Actual behavior
Fancy zone 'hints' (blue boxes) stay open until PowerToys is forcibly restarted.
