Connecting to POA Networks
POA has released their Main network, read below to find out how to connect MetaMask/Nifty Wallet to POA Core and Sokol networks.
MetaMask is a bridge that allows you to visit the distributed web of tomorrow in your browser today. It allows you to run Ethereum and now POA DApps in your browser without running a full node or syncing to the blockchain. MetaMask was originally only available for Google Chrome's Browser, but is now supported by Brave and Mozilla Firefox browsers.
You can create a new Ethereum based address or import an address using private key, former MetaMask recovery seed that is given to you when extension is first installed or by using JSON wallet file created with many of the Ethereum based wallets. The browser extension also allows you to connect your wallet to any custom RPC address you would like and that is how we are going to connect to the POA Networks.
If you need the MetaMask wallet, please go to https://metamask.io.
Nifty Wallet is a fork of Metamask focused on the usability of real-world applications with the native support of POA Network.
Nifty Wallet extension is awailable for Google Chrome.
In MetaMask or in Nifty Wallet
If you would like some Sokol POA tokens, go to POA Sokol faucet.
