Translate the /rchain/reference/docs/Rosette-1-1.pdf document to Greek #459
Comments
I'm not sure that this document is a correct target for translation. Why did you identify it for translation? To my understanding, the hope is that Rosette is hidden away in the background / might not even be a part of the stack long-term. This document really only seems relevant to the very core development team, which conducts most of its business in English. |
@Jake-Gillberg Just add a 0 budget. :-). |
@lapin7 Should we translate this? It's a huge technical file. If we translate this and get $0 it's going to be a waste of our time. |
@ICA3DaR5 If you translate it and it isn't useful and you get payed $5000, it is still a waste of time... and Coop resources. |
Not all /rchain/reference documents are important to translate. Some are only relevant to the core development team which conducts most of its business in English. For example, Rosette stuff. To my understanding, the hope is that Rosette is hidden away in the background / might not even be a part of the stack long-term.
@Jake-Gillberg Why wouldn't i be useful? It explains how rosette works. It will definitely help the contract developers from all around the world. |
He gave his reasons already:
|
Yeah, d-app contract developers will not need to know any Rosette, only Rholang. Rosette is just an intermediary compilation target for Rholang so that we can leverage Greg's previous work on the Rosette VM surrounding formal verification. |
Alright, so I am closing this issue for now then :) |
