Competition management
In order for Results to be stored in the system, a Competition must be created.
When creating a competition, there are a few different options that can be chosen:

Name

The Name of the Competition, this is only used online. (awards are separate)

Scheduled Completion Time

The Date/Time when we expect data for this event to be entered. Used only to order the display of events.
- Add multiple sources of registrants.
- Either choose data that a user entered in their registration, or choose results of another competition.
- Gender Filter
- Choosing "Male" means that only the Male Competitors will be added to this event.
- Useful when creating "Expert Male" from "Individual Expert" Sign up lists.

Uses Lane Assignments

Enables the Lane Assignment system, to assign competitors to heats/lanes

Start Data Type

Specifies Start-of-race information gathering.the way that we will be entering data for this

Award Title Name

Printed on the first line of the award

Award SubTitle Name

[optional] printed on the 2nd line

Has Experts

Should the overall_place for this event (without age groups) also cause awards?

i.e. Beginner muni typically does not have experts but the 10k does.

Note: "100m Expert" is NOT an Expert race.

Has Age Groups

Do the results from this event need to be split according to age groups?

i.e. The 100m expert race does not have age groups but the 10k typically does.

Age Group Type

Select the Age Group Type that will be used to split the results
The Competition may be Edited after creating (which is very important if the Results are not being calculated properly due to a misconfiguration).
