Design
All of these screens were mocked up using mockflow.com and its wireframing tool. Each page (other than the login screen) will feature a "menu" button at the top left corner of the screen which will serve as the navigation system to move to other pages.
This screen will be the first thing a user sees when they open the app. It is a standard login screen featuring a (placeholder) logo that will be replaced by a custom logo.
This scrollable (main/home) screen will be where a user can see their previously submitted pictures and their corresponding timestamps. The submissions will be permanently saved in the database on the back-end, however the user will only see these previously submitted pictures for a finite time as they will not have a need to see what they consumed two weeks ago for example. This is also where the user will choose to take a new picture by using the button on the top right with the plus icon.
This is the screen a user will see after they take picture of their food where they are able to insert a description and pick what type of food it is using a dropdown menu. A user will take pictures of a top-down view, side view, and possibly another side view if needed. The options that will be featured in the drop-down menu as of right now are "Breakfast", "Lunch", "Dinner", "Snack", or "Drink". Users will also be able to see thumbnails of the pictures they have taken and touch them to enlarge the pictures. Once the user is satisfied with their picture(s), they will touch the arrow button on the bottom right of the screen to upload their submission.
