Gustavo Fring#

42 year old Gus enjoys visiting different nature reserves across the country as well as fishing with his two sons. He is a high school drop out but only to work in his fathers restaurant (that Gus now owns) as his family was struggling to make ends meet. Gus didn't get to see his father much outside of work as he was always swamped with work or too exhausted from it. Fortunately, Gus has seen a recent boom in customers as his new recipe for fried chicken has become very popular among the locals. This good fortune has allowed Gus to spend more quality time with his family and has equipped him with the means to travel with them as he's always wanted. However, Gus has also just been diagnosed with a gastrointestinal disease which will either require a significant change in diet or surgery. Gus does not like the idea of surgery as he would be in recovery for quite some time and that's only if the surgery goes well. Gus thinks he has the will and determination to do whatever it takes to avoid this surgery. His dietitian currently tracks his intake with the use of an app that is used to take pictures of his meals.

If Gus continues to use this app appropriately, doctors are confident that they will be able to relieve Gus of his illness and have him resume his life.

GOALS: Treat illness with a change in diet supported by a(our) diet app rather than go through surgery so Gus can return to his family and restaurant.
