- Updated in real-time with less than 2 hours of delay.
- Can have a longer delay, but then the country may not be colored on the map
- Expected delays are stored in zones.json

- Have a granularity of hourly or higher.
- Contain a full breakdown of the production mix.
- It is acceptable to have thermal production sources grouped as unknown.
- It won’t be possible to compute a carbon intensity if a significant portion of the unknown mix consists of renewable energy sources.
- Contain the net flow of cross-border exchanges.
- Not required if the exchanges are insignificant for the electricity consumption in the zone.
- Historical data going back more than one year
- Not required, but ideal
- There are most likely people depending on the current historical data, so we might not be able to change the data source without a historical data source.

Go ahead and create an issue if you’ve found a data source. You should still open an issue if you are unsure whether the data source lives up to the criterias. You can also search for current issues to see if there have been discussions about the zone already
