Manual capacity updates
This page contains guidelines to manually update the capacities of the following zones. You can find more information about the process here.
For AU-NT, Capacity data is available from two different sources.
For conventional power generation:
Solar capacity is available on OPENNEM, this data can be collected using the OPENNEM parser by doing the following:
- Run
poetry run capacity_parser --zone AU-NT --target_datetime 2023-01-01
- Update other capacity manually using the same format

Capacity data is available in a html table and can be parsed. A parser was not built as we only collect daily data for this parser.

The capacity is available in 3 different tables and needs to be aggregated. The Churchill generation station are hydro power plants.
Note: A parser was not developed for this zone as it is not currently one of our priority zones.

Capacity is available in a table on the webpage.

Consider Thermal to be oil generation.
Note: This is only for battery storage capacity

Disclaimer: We have not found a source that enables us to collect all capacity for FR yet. We hope to change this in the future
See data in the section “La carte au format texte”
Note: This source may not be updated in the future. Fossil capacity should not change or be mothballed but wind and solar capacity are likely to increase.

Guidelines:
- Navigate the repo to the selected year.
- In the latest months, find the report named
9.-monitor-mensual-mercado-electrico-guatemalteco
- The data is available in the last section of the report CAPACIDAD INSTALADA EN EL S.N.I. [POTENCIA EFECTIVA]

Capacity is collected from two main sources. Both sources are pdf and revised at least twice a year.
For renewable sources, data is published by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy
- Main link: https://mnre.gov.in/en/physical-progress/
- Report name: State-wise RE installed capacity
The data is available at the state level and should be aggregated as follows:
- Northern grid: Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand
- Western grid: Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli
- Southern grid: Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Pondicherry
- Eastern grid: Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim
- North-Eastern grid: Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura
Note: This report only includes small hydro. Conventional hydro is published on the National Power Portal. Total hydro capacity is the sum of both.
For conventional power generation, data is published by the National Power Portal.

- Report name: All India Installed Capacity of Power Stations (available in pdf and xls)
Note: Ember does not publish hydro storage capacity. The rest of the data is collected from EMBER. The value for pumped storage should be extracted and added manually to the capacity configuration. Main link:https://www.khnp.co.kr/eng/contents.do?key=414

Report name: YYYY List of Existing Power Plants in Grid areas for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao
The report is published every six months and is available in pdf format. The report includes capacity data for all sub-zones for production and battery storage.
The capacity allocated as "Other" on ENTSOE is battery storage. This amount should be reallocated as battery storage
