Proposal

• Remove dcat-ap-vl & metadata-dcat profiles reference and add a “dcat-ap” profile
  • dcat-ap repository on metadata101 is created: https://github.com/metadata101/dcat-ap.vl
  • dcat-ap-vl will be the fork, instead of the other way around
• Handle the various implementations / flavours
  • Check country implementations
  • Maintain flavours in the same repository to prevent maintainability problems
  • Make things optional
  • How dcat-ap-vl is currently handling flavours: provide templates and then act on the choice
  • Schematron validation for specifics, e.g., https://github.com/metadata101/dcat-ap.vl/tree/develop/src/main/plugin/dcat2/schematron
    • Original SHACL (https://github.com/Informatievlaanderen/OSLOthema-metadataVoorServices/tree/validation/release), converted with python script to the above schematrons
• Deal with references to VL specific elements and namespaces
• Overall of the validation to match the dcat-ap standard
• Multi-linguality
• Remove current templates and create new dcat-ap generic templates
