This crash happens with 0.76.0 and 0.76.1 and 0.76.2 and with all previous builds released since October 2023 and that I tested.

Most often, the Settings window loads, is black for a few seconds and then crashes without user input.

Sometimes, the settings window is visible and navigable for a few seconds, then crashes.

(Edit: corrected version numbers)

Same. Can't open the settings UI. Some functions are running in the background, however, but not all. Awake is running but not mouse without borders.

I hope this helps.

We just tested with Powertoys 0.77.0 and the same thing happens as reported above. The app seems to install well.

But when I try to start Powertoys, it still crashes.
Sometimes when starting, the Powertoys Settings window launches, but when I try to interact with it, it crashes.

At times, I am able interact briefly with the settings window, but then it spontaneously crashes again.

Resizing or moving the Powertoys window seems to provoke a crash.

Could you please address this issue?

To clarify, it does not seem like a complete crash, as the tray icon and I think some of its services continue running.

But the Settings is inaccessible, trying to launch it brings up a blank black window wich crashes.

Many other bug reports in the recent past seem to concern a similar or the same experience.

Even in the latest release v0.78.0, the same issue persists. 😞
