Prerelease versions
Sometimes there are some issues or problems that are hard to reproduce and test. But workarounds are required soon. Usually in this case I create prerelase versions of the widget. Such versions are usually designed to apply a quick fix or patch for some issues reported or add some new features that haven't been tested properly yet.
Generally you should install a prerelease build only in one of the following cases:
- if you experience a problem with a widget and it's stated that the prerelease build should fix that problem.
- the prerelase build has some features that you desperately need but they are missing in the current stable release.
You can install, update, uninstall a prerelease version of the widget the same way as a standard stable version.
You can find and download a prerelease version of the widget here. There may be several prerelease versions. You should choose the latest version (the first from the top of the page). The latest stable release has green label Latest release. The prerelease version that you may want to install should be more recent than the Latest release. If the Latest release is the first in the list, then it means that currently there are no fresh prerelease versions available.
