System requirements

General information

  • This widget works as a plugin for Yootheme's Widgetkit 2. So, your system needs to satisfy the Widgetkit's system requirements and you need to install the Widgetkit first, read more. You must have Widgetkit 2.4.x and later (recommended 2.5.0+).
  • The widget can work both on localhost (e.g. with XAMPP) and online websites.
  • You should use one of the following CMS supported by the Widgetkit:
    • Joomla! 3.4.x or later (see system requirements)
    • WordPress 4.4.x or later (see system requirements). The widget may work with WordPress according to feedback from users. But I can't test it personally, because I don't have the required Widgetkit subscription. If you will face any problems using this widget on WordPress, you can contact me to make some changes to the code of this widget if necessary.
  • You must have ability to upload and/or modify files on your website. This can be done in various ways, e.g. through:
    • FTP
    • SSH
    • File Manager or alternative plugin/component (e.g. eXtplorer for Joomla)
    • Hosting provider's control panel
