  • Survey Closes Today?
    • We've decided to extend the survey for a week and continue promotion to try and get more responses.
  • Users Meeting
    • First Meeting will be on the 20th of August
    • Notes on details coming soon (email pending)
  • Interest Group Meetings
    • MIG
      • Last meeting was an old-school MIG meeting talking about metadata people are using, the records in contexts ontology, and rights statements
    • IRIG
      • No meetings since last we met
    • ISLE Interest Group
      • The ISLE interest group has fully joined the community and is using our Github, etc... like other interest groups
      • Introducing the concept of "release parties", where there's an open zoom room for several hours during the day, sometime after release, where everyone can join in and help upgrade together, troubleshoot, support, etc...
      • New release for ISLE 7, 1.5.1
    • Multitenancy Interest Group
      • Going to try and move ahead with multi-tenancy on ISLE and coordinate with Nigel Banks, who is attempting multi-tenancy for Lyrasis
      • Needs more documentation
  • Islandora 8
  • Islandora Online
    • Very successful

    • Earned a reasonable amount of money by donation considering it was free, enough to get Danny a Zoom Pro account
    • Want to give it some time for more sprints to happen and we have more to talk about, but it will be done again. We think that eventually, when we can do face to face, we can run both online and in person events. In person events will focus on training.
