An add-on module for Foundry VTT; Displays dead creatures as bloodsplats to keep the battlefield clear of tokens.

Installation

Install the module via Foundry's Add-on Modules screen.

Usage & Features

Bloodsplats

When an NPC is killed (marked dead or defeated, not just at 0 HP), replaces the skull with a bloodsplat and an optional token fading. Player tokens still show the skull as normal.

The GM will always be able to see the token through the bloodsplat, and by default the player will only see the bloodsplat, but this is configurable in the settings if you'd rather the players see the token as well. Hiding the token is not using Foundry's show/hide system and is visual only; the token is still able to be clicked and targeted by players.

Bloodsplat color can adjusted globally in the module settings, and individually on the token configuration window. Use transparent to hide the bloodsplat on a specific token.

Bloodsplats will be disabled on a specific token if that token's sheet is currently configured to be an Item Pile or a Merchant Sheet.

Type Specific Bloodsplats

D&D 5th Edition & PF 2nd Edition only. You can configure different images & colors for different types of creatures. If a creature has more than one type, one of them will be randomly selected.

Disable Bloodsplat Tokens

Adds an option to disable any tokens with bloodsplats on them, preventing targeting, accidental movement, or opening of actor sheets. This can be overridden temporarily by disabling the button the on the left HUD.

Remove Defeated Effects

Adds an option to remove any Sequencer or Token Magic FX from defeated tokens to help with Foundry performance.
