LAB design

Team 6 is primarily responsible for implementing the in-game lab scene in sprint 2. The Lab is an essential feature of the game because it allows the player to enter a specific scene to interact with, and it gives the player a clearer idea of where they are and where they should start once they understand the storyline.

features covered

  • The player can return to the main menu interface from the lab scene using the exit button.
  • Players can click on a lab picture on the map to enter the lab scene.
  • The scene will contain content that tells the story of the game.
  • Players can tap on the main screen to open a new game and enter the lab scene.

Defined Design Style

From discussions with other groups, a 16:9 canvas aspect ratio is preferred. In addition, in order to fit the storyline of the laboratory, our team made the laboratory scene in a broken style.
