NPC communications Chapter 456
Event: Got theatre ticket
Location: Theatre
Communication:
P: Orpheus... I'm sorry but Nereus is dead...
O: I can't accept it... I have not even show my love for her...
O: ............
O: Well, I think it's meant to be.
(Orpheus clenched his scale in the palm of his hand)
P: I know you're down, but it's only through the scales that we can find the murderer... so can you give me the scale on your hand?
O: You need to give me some information about Nereus' family in exchange. I think it may be related to her death.
SECTION 1:
Information Collected:
Nereus’ father was the king of Atlantis but he stepped down from the throne a few years ago for health reasons and lost voice about heir to the throne as a result. Her mom was also in charge of the main regime in Atlantis and had high admiration among villagers out of her shrewdness and broad perspective. Also, her mom loved Nereus for her talent of leadership. However, for their son Ares, he has strong skills in swordsmanship though, wasn't good enough in other decisive aspects especially to be the guardian of Atlantis.
SECTION 2:
Location: Orpheus
Event: Player tells Orpheus the information collected about Nereus’ Family. Communication:
Player(P): Orpheus, it is the information I collected about Nereus' family, but I don't know what this has to do with the murderer.
Orpheus(O): We can sort out the clues together. Have you seen anything strange lately? P: It occurred to me that I saw Huff yelling at some troublemakers on the way to the theater that the princess' death had nothing to do with him.
O: But those who loved the princess very much asserted that he was the murderer because he always showed violence to those with whom he had some skirmishes.
O: Heph also disagrees with the political philosophy of the princess. He prefers Ares because Ares has more powerful strength and superb swordsmanship, which was he admired for.
O: I also heard Nereus' parents were quarreling about the guardian of Atlantis on the way to theatre, and Nereus was sobbing softly.
O: I felt very sad and just walked away pretending not to hear because I didn't want to show any affection.
O: Having talked so much, I hope you can help me find the murderer of Nereus. I can give you my scale, but in exchange you can't divulge our conversation tonight.
SELECTION 1: Keep secrets for Orpheus. / SELECTION 2: Ignore his request.
SELECTION 1: Orpheus: Here you are. (Player gets the scale.)
SELECTION 2: Orpheus: Get away from me! (Player loses the scale.)
SECTION 3: (When Player choose to keey the secrets)
Event: Player got a scale from Orpheus.
Mission: Gathered the scattered scales
Communication:
P: Time to go back to Lab to find Zoe for help.
(Go back to Lab)
Zoe: Doctor, you have collected all the scales! Now we need to put all scales together and go to Village to ask Metis to read princess' memory. (Go to Village)
Metis: Okay, you found all the scales. Just give me a minute to read these.
Metis: ... I... saw him...
SECTION 1:
Communication: Metis: "Heph was holding the knife ... Nereus were saying her brother's name." "Ares was standing aside and keeping silent , not stepping forward to stop Heph..." "Nereus was forced into a corner, she was so scared." "Heph approached Nereus step by step...But his hand holding the knife was shaking badly?!" "No, it wasn't he. No." "It was Ares." Zoe: That will make sense.
Zoe: Ares wasn't appointed as the heir by their parents. So, he failed in becoming the guardian of Atlantis. As we all know, he is always sensitive and competitive, but he lost to Nereus while competing for the guardian and this situation will hardly change. Unless the current guardian dies.
SECTION 2:
Communication: P: Why Heph hold the knife…
Zoe: We need to find Ares. (Event: Ares come from a corner) Ares: Yes, I did everything. And I bought Heph to help me.
Ares: Because I pay for a gem that he broke and can’t afford.
Ares: Heph didn’t want to kill anyone, I force him to.
SECTION 3:
Action: Find traitor.
Communication: P: Ares, please don’t sink Atlantis.
A: Let’s do it
(Event: He went back to the lab with everyone and pressed a switch in the corner that was hidden by a painting covered in scales.)
P: Atlantis is rising!!!
