Sprint4 Team 3: User Testing for improvement of ending mune and button sounds
In the first three sprints, our team selected and designed background music, including Action Sounds, etc. In sprint 4, our team changed direction and worked on ending mune by adding sound effects for losing/winning games, as well as all key sounds for the whole game.
- We created a survey form, posted it to the game discussion group, and received the results from a variety of users, including people :
from other teams in the same studio, classmates, friends, etc.
- These questions are based on the information the player has access to, including their state and performance in the game. Because we have provided various options, the testing commonly used in user testing to understand users' preference. In general, we asked participants whether they preferred which design and why.

- Because the questionnaire site can't upload audio, we can only add all music to google form,link:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1wbr9TFY6gR4icFUNsgb6UzI_aTiUoR3I https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Mm_HP5AJxBbsx197hb_tRy7ke7v98soM
As shown in the results, we had a conversation with all the respondents at the same time, and they explained some of the reasons for their choice. Most of the respondents gave the following opinions and the number of respondents was 15:
- 1.When winning the game, music can enhance our various emotions, including the sense of accomplishment, etc., so high and upward music is more suitable. The style of No. 3 music has a strong pixel style, and many interviewed people think that it is very compatible with both the introduction of the game and the game style**
- 2.When you lose a game, it's usually frustrating, but in order to get people to play again you need to get them excited about the game and help them play again, and music number three does just that, with a low tone**
- 3.The button music is the most repeated music in the game, so it needs to be repeated many times without boring the player, and the selected button sound also fits well with the pixel style**
