Sprint2 Music Test
The role of game background music is to render the atmosphere and immerse users in it to achieve better game effects. In the sprint2 test, we showed the background music of five scenes and three interactive sound effects selected by the team, and asked user to rate the music to get feedback on the music test.
According to the feedback in sprint1, most people think that this is a multiplayer cooperative adventure game, so the team will give priority to music with strong rhythm when selecting sound effects.
The purpose of this test is to confirm some sound effects for sprint3. In the future work, the team will replace the music that is once lower on the ground according to the test results.
Because the questionnaire site can't upload audio, we can only add all music to google form,link:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ixkaAYKWtUcPKO-gyvM6xMzKuF7qpbMC
Question: Satisfaction with the background music of the Atlantis/laboratory/theatre/Poseidon/vallage scene. Satisfaction with the action music of the footstep/bell&ring/rattle.
User: Students, users interested in games, and other developers
A total of 15 users participated in this test. They are from different groups, including students and people who have worked. What they have in common is that they have a great interest in games.
Method:
1.Write a questionnaire and upload the audio. The questionnaire is scored in the form of a total of 5 points. 1 point means very dissatisfied, and 5 points means very satisfied.
-
After collecting the data, we will conduct a return visit to the special value. When there is a score of 1 or 2, we will interview the tester.
-
Summarize the feedback results and make adjustments to the music that is not satisfactory. Questionnaire link:https://wj.qq.com/s2/10790979/305e/
According to the data feedback, most of the average scores are between 3-4 points, and there is no extreme data of 1 or 2, which means that the music material we selected is reasonable. Among all the questions, the most people choose 3, we randomly interviewed 5 testers, and they said that our music is normal and not bright, everything sounds regular, so we will make changes in Sprint3 for music with low scores.
